Executive Operations Coordinator

Client ServicesRemote (US)Full-time$80,000 - $120,000

Syntas is seeking an Executive Operations Coordinator to support our fractional executive practice. You will work alongside our fractional CTOs, CFOs, CROs, COOs, CHROs, and CMOs, providing the research, analysis, and operational support that enables them to deliver transformational value to clients. This role is ideal for ambitious professionals who want exposure to executive-level decision making across multiple companies and functions. This position offers a unique vantage point: you will see how top executives approach problems, make decisions, and drive change across diverse organizations. You will develop skills in executive communication, strategic analysis, and operational excellence—all while building a network and knowledge base that can accelerate your own career trajectory.

About the Role

As an Executive Operations Coordinator at Syntas, you will be the force multiplier for our fractional executive team. When a fractional CTO needs competitive analysis before a board meeting, you will research and synthesize the information. When a fractional CFO needs financial models built for a funding round, you will develop the spreadsheets and supporting materials. When a fractional CRO needs to understand a new market segment, you will compile the data and insights that inform their strategy.

Your work will span every aspect of executive operations. Research is a major component: you will investigate competitors, analyze market trends, evaluate vendors, and synthesize information from diverse sources into clear, actionable briefs. You will prepare materials for board meetings, investor presentations, and strategic planning sessions. You will track action items, coordinate between stakeholders, and ensure that decisions translate into executed plans.

The variety in this role is exceptional. In a single week, you might prepare a technology roadmap presentation for a Series B startup, build a financial model for a company evaluating acquisition targets, research HR tech vendors for a scaling operations team, and compile market data for a go-to-market strategy. You will develop broad business knowledge while honing skills in analysis, communication, and project coordination.

We are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, highly organized, and comfortable operating at a fast pace. You should be eager to learn how different business functions work and how executives think about problems. Strong written communication is essential—you will often be the one translating complex information into clear executive summaries. If you aspire to executive leadership yourself someday, this role offers an unparalleled education in what that looks like across multiple companies and contexts.
